CityPlace Redevelopment Project

CityPlace Burlington is under construction. This is the ~$200 million redevelopment of the former Burlington Town Center into a multi-story mixed use development. CityPlace Partners have finalized their building program for the entire site and received a permit amendment from the Department of Permitting and Inspection allowing for a minimum of 350 residential units including 70 permanently affordable units, a maximum of 350 hotel rooms in two separate hotels, 40,000 square feet (sf) of retail, and 172,000 sf of parking area.

BTC Mall Associates, the owner/developer of CityPlace Burlington, held a public meeting on February 27, 2020. They presented and discussed their project redesign for the proposed 763,200 square foot mixed-use project located at 75 Cherry Street. To see the February 2020 presentation slides Click Here

In October of 2019, the developers of CityPlace Burlington presented a redesigned version of their project to City Council. Since that time, they have worked with their architects and engineers to refine the design. Representatives from the developer’s technical team held two informational sessions on January 30, 2020 to update the community and solicit on feedback on their new design.
