Department of Public Works

Fall Leaf Pickup

Public Works picks up bagged leaves every year around Thanksgiving. Last year Burlington residents composted over 150 tons of leaves!  This year’s dates are November 18-22, 2019. Leaves will be picked up the same day as your recycling. Sometimes, especially on the Monday and Tuesday of that week, DPW may get "ahead" and pickup leaves on the next days route.  Don't Worry! We will be back to get everyones leaves!  If you did get missed, please call 863-9094 or use seeclickfix.com. Thank you for helping to keep Burlington a beautiful place to live, work and play.

You can also drop leaves off at any CSWD facility or at the McNeil Wood and Yard Debris Depot.  If you need more information on locations or proper disposal of yard debris, please visit: https://cswd.net/a-to-z/yard-debris/
