The Clerk Treasurer's office administers vehicle for hire licenses within the City of Burlington. Every vehicle for hire operation in the City or airport, whether an individual, corporation, d/b/a, limited liability corporation, partnership, or other legal entity, shall obtain a vehicle for hire business license from the Clerk Treasurer's office.

The Burlington International Airport will maintain responsibility of all contract, queue and courtesy permits. The BTV Airport Taxi Administration Office is located in the glass booth across from the main terminal doors, between the Taxi Queue Line and the Contract pick-up/drop-off area.
