Burlington, VT – A winter PARKING BAN will go into effect tonight at 10pm (midnight in the downtown core). Public Works will focus on scraping sidewalks, bike lanes and roads before a heavy freeze. Nearly 30 members of the Public Works team will be working overnight driving the trucks and tractors; working in our garage to maintain and repair the fleet; and enforcing the snow ban to promote the safest possible conditions. Please travel safely and stay warm!
Ways to learn about snow bans:
Snow ban lights are turned on by 3PM on the day of a ban.
Check 802-658-SNOW for updates after 3PM.
