How to Qualify
The Lead Hazard Control program aims to provide a public health benefit through housing to low-income families and to aid in that goal, there are some differing qualification requirements for rental properties, and owner-occupied properties. Namely, that owner-occupied properties must have a child under 6 in the home, or an expecting parent. This is because rental properties are more likely to have a child move into the home in the near-future. Additionally, because this program directs public health benefit to low-income households, the occupant is always income-verified. This could be the owner, if it is an owner-occupied property, or the tenant in a rental property. See how a property or unit can qualify for our program below.
