Flicks in the Park
If you missed the screening for Flicks in the Park: "OWNED: A Tale of Two Americas", you can check the film out through Fletcher Free Library's Kanopy access using your public library card. In collaboration with BCA’s summer Flicks in the Park series, this screening provided a high-level overview of interrelated housing policy issues, including redlining and segregation, suburbanization, and real estate speculation. The film provides a general education on the history of US housing policies that continue to influence housing systems today, and will provide a foundation for us to explore more local issues and solutions over the coming months.
