Urban Forestry Plan Rewrite

The City of Burlington is looking to comprehensively rewrite its Urban Forestry Plan to address the sustainability, management, and resiliency of its urban forest.  The project will include stakeholder and public outreach that will help develop the roadmap for Burlington's urban forest into the future.  It will include an assessment of the status of urban forest management, identify best management practices, and provide the strategic and technical guidance to achive urban forest sustainability in Burlington over the coming decades.  The plan will also serve as the basis for a (separate) update of the city's tree ordinance.
