The City of Burlington (“City”) is seeking proposals from qualified firms for “design-build” services relating to the proposed Main Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Administration Building Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) System Component Upgrade. Design–build is a project delivery system used to deliver a project in which the design and construction services are contracted by a single entity. Qualified firms will possess technical expertise, management and staffing capabilities, references, and related prior experience to complete the projects described in this Request for Proposal (“RFP”). Responding firms will also be required to demonstrate professional services which include, but are not limited to; design and construction of similar HVAC upgrades including electrical, mechanical coordination and equipment testing and start-up.
