PLAN AHEAD! Marketplace Garage Renovations Underway

Cherry St entrance closed through end of February

Head to the Downtown Garage - plenty of space and 2 hours of free parking

What’s Going on at Marketplace Garage?

As early as Wednesday January 25th, Marketplace Garage’s Cherry Street entrance will be temporarily closed through the end of February. The Bank street entrance will remain open during this work.

Currently, the garage is undergoing important structural renovations – including repairs to beams, the deck and the brick facade. Marketplace is Burlington’s favorite garage so please plan ahead and consider the Downtown Garage as the dependable, predicable and safe alternative.

To check the current status on the entrances, please visit burlingtonvt.gov/parking.

Plan Ahead and Head to the Downtown Garage

Formerly called the College & Lakeview Garage Complex, the newly named Downtown Garage is easy to get to and has a lot to offer: nearly 1,200 spaces!; 3 convenient entrances off of Cherry, Battery and College, and gateless entry with the convenience of paying with ParkMobile and extending your stay remotely if needed. And don’t forget 2 hours of free parking Monday through Saturday; and all day free on Sunday (you still must start a parking session even during free parking!).
