BIPOC Affinity Spaces



The REIB Employee Resource Group has put together the first-ever affinity space for City of Burlington Employees identifying as Black, Indigenous, a Person of Color, bi, or multicultural. This space is a confidential safe space for our BIPOC employees to come together in solidarity to process what it is like to be BIPOC and work in a predominantly White state/city, to discuss the challenges and successes that come with working for the City of Burlington, and to celebrate one another as we acknowledge the power and beauty of being a BIPOC person.
