Mayor Miro Weinberger Statement in Response to Unanimous Development Review Board Decision on Burlington Town Center Redevelopment
Burlington, VT –Mayor Miro Weinberger released the following statement after the Development Review Board’s decision on March 13:
“This evening, after completing its careful scrutiny of the proposed redevelopment of the Burlington Town Center, the Development Review Board unanimously approved an important project that will move our City forward by making Burlington more environmentally sustainable, more affordable, and more vibrant. The approval of the project's key land use permit represents a major milestone in this historic effort to repair and revitalize three central blocks of our downtown.”
