Public Works to Host Open House on Water Resources Rates,  Fees and Affordability Program Study Goals

Burlington, VT – Public Works and its Water Resources Division are hosting an open house for the public as part of an ongoing rate affordability study. Equity, affordability, and sustainability are priorities of the Administration, and this open house will discuss ways to continue work toward those values as well as topics raised by a City Council resolution earlier in 2019.

  • How utility bills fund critical water, wastewater and stormwater programs
  • Critical projects Water Resources is working on and planning for the future; and
  • Initial public input on affordable and equitable ways to pay for these vital programs and projects.

Interviews Available

Public Works Director Chapin Spencer and Division Director Megan Moir are available on Monday, October 28 and Tuesday, October 29 for interviews.
