Herb Bloomenthal Award for Community Activism
The Herb Bloomenthal Award for Community Activism is given to a community leader annually who has demonstrated tenacity and dedication in improving Burlington's neighborhoods. This award was created to honor the life and volunteer work of Herb Bloomenthal, who died prematurely on September 6, 2000. To be eligible, a nominee must live in Burlington, cannot serve as a City employee, and must be committed to serving their community. To nominate someone, please fill out the form below. A selection committee made up of community members will select the award winner, and they will be recognized on the evening of October 27 at Celebrate Burlington.
