"Lunchtime Yoga helps me keep lean and limber and is one of the best free programs the City offers for employees" Kenneth Nosek - Assessors Office

Exciting News! The Wellness Committee has decided to put your wellness first! We've selected to offer employees a Monthly Corporate Membership at Sangha Studio!  Sangha Studio is one of Vermont's only nonprofit, donation-based yoga studios with over 100 classes weekly both in-person and online. They strive to have a little something for everyone from 30-minute classes to hour-long classes, flow classes to restorative, and everything in between. With this membership you'll have all the same benefits as their $60 Sustaining Members - Unlimited access to online + in-person classes, bring a friend to in-person classes with you for free, mat storage at physical locations, discounts on special classes, workshops, series and events and an invitation to bi-annual Sangha Social events!

Without any more waiting, you can register for a class! It will take you about 5-minutes to get all set up in their system and then you'll be able to register for drop-in classes for FREE - thanks to the city!!! Simply fill out the following information on this page on their website. You'll be asked to:

  • Create an account on union.fit. Make sure to use your preferred email address!
  • When you go to sign up for a class at Sangha, you will have the option to enter an "access code." The access code will allow the city of Burlington business membership to be linked to your account. CALL HR FOR the ACCESS CODE!!

Give Sangha 24-48 hours to get your account squared away and then you'll be ready to move and groove as part of the community! Check out all their classes here!
Don't hesitate to reach out with any questions to info@sanghastudio.org
See you in class soon!

These FREE classes, while non-strenuous, provide you renewed energy for the remainder of your day. Classes focus on breathing, balance and stretching, with an underlying theme of restoring the body and mind to a more energized and relaxed state.

No experience is necessary and, while not necessary, a yoga mat is good to bring along.
