Amendment to FY19 Consolidated Plan for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program
The City of Burlington has drafted an Amendment in response to COVID-19 to the FY19 Action Plan to include the additional $293,349 of Round 3 CARES Act Funding for the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG-CV3).  This amendment can be referenced here (attach document):
Upon review and approval of the Amendment, HUD will amend the existing grant agreement issued to the City of Burlington to add the Round 3 funding. The City is accepting comments on the proposed amendment from October 16th through October 25th. Furthermore a public hearing will be held on October 21st at 5:30pm at the Community Development and Neighborhood Revitalization Committee Meeting. Proposal to the State of Vermont for an Additional $400,0000 of CDBG-CV funds
The City is also soliciting input to prioritize housing and community development needs to seek an additional $400,000 of CDBG-CV funds from the State of Vermont’s non-entitlement round 3 CDBG funding. Information on the State’s CDBG-CV round 3 funding is available online (https://accd.vermont.gov/housing/plans-data-rules/hud). The proposed uses submitted in Burlington’s application for funding to the State will be posted for public access and comment on Monday, October 19th. The City also welcomes feedback on the proposed funding request presented to the State of Vermont.
