Services include production of potable water, meter reading, billing, and treatment of wastewater. Much of what goes on to provide these services goes unseen since the water treatment plants are not frequented by customers and the water delivery systems are underground.

Wastewater Rate Increase
On June 20, 2011 the Burlington City Council approved a Wastewater rate increase of 10% from $4.71 to $5.18 / 100 CF. This change was recommended to provide sufficient revenues to fund debt service for the refinancing of debt to the State of Vermont. The Water rate will remain the same.
