The Right of Way (R.O.W.) division provides some of the most visible and essential services that allow the city to function: street sweeping, water service installation and repair, cleaning and repairing of stormwater catch basins and inlets, residential recycling, sidewalk repair, pothole patching, painting road lines and crosswalks, and on-call snow removal throughout the long Vermont winter. R.O.W. is able to provide support to the Water &Wastewater, Stormwater and Plangineering divisions of DPW, and also responds to individual work orders routed through Customer Service.
