Confirm Your Voter Registration

United State's Citizens can search Burlington's Voter Checklist at the Vermont Secretary of State's Web Site to Verify their Registration and Ward. Legal Residents who are not United States Citizens can confirm their Registration by calling the Clerk Treasurer's Office at 802-865-7000.

Burlington residents can vote in three types of elections: 

• Burlington Elections (local items only, municipal & school - open to all legal residents, regardless of citizenship status)

• State Elections (only open to United States citizens)

• Federal Elections (only open to United States citizens) 

Registering to Vote:

• In Person: Voters can register at the Clerk Treasurer's Office until the Friday before an election. Voters can also register to vote at their polling place on Election Day.

• Online: United States Citizens may register online at https://olvr.vermont.gov/

• By mail: Complete and return one of the following forms to 149 Church Street, Burlington, VT 05401:

  • For United States Citizens: Vermont Voter Registration Form 

  • For Burlington residents who are not United States Citizens: City of Burlington All Legal Resident Voter Registration Form. Translations of the City of Burlington All Legal Resident Registration Form are available in: Arabic | العربية  -  Burmese | မြန်မာစာ   - French | Français - Nepali | नेपाली - Somali | Soomaali - Swahili | Kiswahili
