- June 7, 2010: Application meeting with City Council
- January 1, 2011: Application resolution sponsored by Community Development & Neighborhood Revitalization Committee
- February 7, 2011: Application resolution passed by City Council
- March 4, 2011: Application submitted to VEPC
- March 24, 2011: VEPC district tour and first VEPC Hearing
- April 28, 2011: Second VEPC hearing
- June 23, 2011: VEPC approved Burlington Downtown TIF District
